Warning: Possible Redesign in Video Shows Suspect and Unveiled Shooting Scene in Toronto

Police are looking for a suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of a man found with multiple gunshot wounds along the centre line of a busy road on Thursday in Vaughan, Ontario.

A man was discovered around 5:30 p.m. Thursday in a roadside ditch on Dobson Road, located in North York. The victim had been shot multiple times. Police have yet to release the name of the victim but said the man is in his 20s.

“Police have responded to Dobson Road area and identified a man that has been shot and unfortunately, he has died,” Toronto Police said.

An autopsy conducted Friday morning found that the man was killed, but police said they were looking for a suspect in connection with the shooting.

“We have homicide investigators here at the scene and we’re continuing to process the scene and follow-up on investigative leads,” Toronto Police Spokesperson Meaghan Gray said.

Police asked the public for help in identifying a white Ford F-150 pick-up truck and a white Suzuki Gixxer SUV that were seen driving away from the crime scene.

Gray said the vehicle was last seen on Dobson Road near Silver Springs.

“We’re confident the suspect and the victim are known to each other, but this is still under investigation at this time,” Gray said.

Investigators believe the victim had been shot on the east side of Dobson Road, but believe the shooting occurred somewhere in the area on the west side.
